Campout
Well, I have hit a small lull so I thought I would drop a line or three.
This week is gonna be REALLY BUSY. Tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday I work both at the library and at Sonic. So it is gonna be a big adventure. I will probably be working from 8 in the morning until 11 at night, with about an hour or so for a break. Also, we have Leigh Ann's prom, and many other things.
Yesterday I went to see the Will Farrell movie, "Kicking and Screaming." It's pretty much Ladybugs for 2005. That said, it was a cute movie. I read on Rottentomatoes.com where it didn't get great reviews, but I liked it. Of course, Will Ferrell is a friend of mine, (okay, not really) so any movie by him is worth seeing. (It's kind of the same way with Julie Andrews.) I went with Misti, Brian, Kelley, and Erin.
I also went camping out. I went with G, Wendy, Chris, Rich, Steve, and a few of Chris's friends from Bridgeway. Also, Steve was there. He's a friend of Rich's. Anyway, we played Mad Libs and I Never. I wanted to sleep outside, but my allergies got REALLY BAD, so I had to sleep indoors. Sigh and alas. I'm still stopped up. Plus I have another canker sore. But we had lots of fun. Chris's friends are very adventuresome. They were playing hacky-sack with live coals. Ouch! Also they walked tightrope. I wish I were that coordinated.
Speaking of, I really, REALLY need to learn how to play frisbee. I tried it this weekend, and...well, let's just say I am not very good. In fact, a couple of times I had to trudge in the grass to retrieve it from inopportune locations.
